To start the first chapter, I was given two options. We enter the scene either to the tune of some adult contemporary, or the sun beating down on our character’s faces as they carpool from the softball field. I decided some crooning might put our team in the mood to get started, so the story progressed while I kept choosing what happened next. Pretty novel, but no sucking or fucking yet. It’s possible that had I kept on my characters might have had some foreplay on the second base, but I’m a busy guy! Luckily, there is an ‘explicit’ button on the edge of the screen so by my next prompt the jerseys were coming off. The immediate switch was satisfying, if a bit jarring - my characters seemed a bit surprised as if it was like a metatextual play.
